Nearby Places:

  1. Dodda Aladha Mara
  2. Manchinabele dam
  3. Indian Deep Space Network (IDSN)

Journey:

We started from our place around 7 AM and headed towards Savandurga Trek. We had planned earlier that we finish off the trek before sun comes up at the centre of the sky making its hard for us to trek in the hot sun,

Temple at the foot of the Hill
How the hill looks from the start of the trek
Hill from the starting point of the trek

First Pit Stop:

After some struggle we managed to look the peak where nandi is situated at the top of the hill

The trek path is very much directional. You can see the little directional arrows that has been put all over the hill and its very easy to find your way upwards.

We finally reached the peak and below are the view from the top of the Hill:

While we were at the top, we could see two birds playing with the mother nature's wind, I hope this will get you a bit motivated and positive attitude at what ever you are going through currently.

A good getaway from Bangalore and a small refreshing trek.

With that being said, Have a great day :)

We had our lunch at temple and headed to Sri Anjaneya Swamy Temple(Mulbagal), sadly the temple was closed by the time we reached there. So we then headed to Antara Gange.

Antara Gange:
Antara Gange is a mountain situated in the Shathashrunga mountain range in the southeastern portion of the Indian state of Karnataka. Antara Gange literally means "Ganges from deep" in Kannada. It is about two miles from the town of Kolar and seventy kilometers from Bangalore. Antara Gange is famous for the temple situated on the mountain. In the temple is a pond which gets a continuous flow of underground water from the mouth of a Basava. There is a steep, narrow path to the top of the mountain. The mountain consists of granite rocks and lot of caves around.

For the adventurous sports out there, this is one of the places to cross off your bucket list as the place is covered with lot of caves and a little hiking experience you get when you climb a top of the mountain.

After having some fair amount of fun, we started back to Bangalore by the evening.

Overall a nice getaway from the busy schedule you are on either with a family or a bunch of friends.

With that being said, Have a great day :)
